Continue reading “The Mill District” » November 22nd, 2011 The dog walks haven’t gotten difficult yet. Only a slight chill over the bridge.
This is the same bridge with the Frankenstein monster. There’s a Dunn Brother’s Coffee at the other end, so it’s worth it. November 20th, 2011 The snow caused us to return to our old stomping grounds at the Lake of the Isles.
There were geese everywhere so we had to leave early. You know how Harley gets around goose poop. I can’t deal. November 19th, 2011 And the snow came.
That’s the Minneapolis Federal Reserve Bank, one of my favorite buildings. I haven’t seen the Occupy Minnesota protestors out there for a while. Maybe winter has done them in? Anyway, the building looks even better in winter. Oh, and Gertrude loves the snow. Harley isn’t so sure.
November 18th, 2011 The gig’s up. Tomorrow it snows. That means I’m spending as much time outside with the dogs as possible today. I took the dogs on a long hike by the Mississippi.
The walk was a little too long for Harley’s taste.
He’ll get over it. November 16th, 2011 Long nights in the studio.
The album is coming along nicely, at least better than before. I’ve also figured out the process of getting my music on Pandora. It seems a little overly complex, but it’s a project for January. November 11th, 2011 My friends think that it is was bizarre that I still walk from Nordeast to the bars downtown. I’m desperately trying to enjoy Minneapolis before the snow and cold. Plus the view isn’t bad because there are no trees to hide the buildings anymore.
November 1st, 2011 I love that New England is buried under feet of snow and it’s in the 60’s in Minneapolis. This extended fall is gorgeous.
