Dennis Jansen

Dennis Jansen is a Dallas-based journalist and blogger. He currently serves as the Mobile/Newsletters Editor for The Dallas Morning News, a leading newspaper in Texas.

Prior to joining The News, Jansen worked at Thomson Reuters’ legal division for seven years. He earned his law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School, where he was part of the Ronald M. Mankoff Tax Clinic. Jansen also has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami.

Jansen is the editor of the legal blog Jansen on Tax, where he covers tax law and policy. He also publishes a lifestyle blog that focuses on life in Oak Lawn, the epicenter of Dallas-Fort Worth’s LGBT community.
