Dennis Jansen

Dennis Jansen is a tax attorney and LL.M. candidate at Georgetown University Law Center.

Dennis earned his J.D. at the University of Minnesota Law School, where he was a member of the Ronald M. Mankoff Tax Clinic and served as a VITA tax preparer.

Prior to beginning his studies at Georgetown, Dennis worked in the legal division of Thomson Reuters for seven years and most recently served as an editor at The Dallas Morning News, the largest newspaper in Texas.

Dennis is the editor of the legal blog Jansen on Tax, where he covers tax law and policy. He also maintains a personal blog that focuses on LGBT issues and life in Washington D.C.
