Hah! After consulting with some 2Ls and 3Ls, I’ve learned that this happens quite often. Most of the time it happens when two people lean back.

And yes, A-boom-a-noom! B-Scott uses it all the time…for example, in his Scarlet Takes a Tumble video:

OMG. That is hilarious (glad neither of you were injured, obv). Those kinds of chairs are Dangerous! A kid in my section crashed to the floor in a similar blaze of glory during orientation. None of the profs could figure out why nobody wanted to sit in that part of the room the next week.
Also, A-boom-a-noom??? For some reason that put the “manamana” song in my head….thanks
