Jill is kind of a bitch. This just happened in Crimlaw:
Professor R: “I want to schedule a makeup class for April 28 at noon. Does anyone have any conflicts with this?”
Jack: “I do! I do! There is some lunch thing with potential employers on that day.”
Jill (loudly): “Don’t worry. You’re not going to get hired anyway!”
Ouch.
Wow, that is harsh.
Aww man, I felt bad about that…kind of. To be fair, I think I said “You’re not going to get hired anyway,” meaning everyone in the class…due to the bad job market…I’m not helping, am I?
I guess I should stick with the traditional Minnesotan technique of silently judging people. It’s less quotable.
It’s a double section class too. And Jill isn’t in the same section as Jack…which makes it worse.
There’s nothing wrong with being quotable. My section just considered it retaliation for all the mean things we said about you guys
