The dogs and I said goodbye to Lake of the Isles today.

I know that I am only moving about two miles away, but it is unlikely that I am going to walk the dogs across downtown Minneapolis to go to a lake. I am sure that Nordeast will have plenty of new places to walk the dogs – namely, the Mississippi River.

I also discovered that Harley probably can’t swim. He wades just fine, but he started slipping into the lake and gave me this panicked “I can’t walk…what’s wrong!?” look. He eventually scooted back to shore so I didn’t have to channel David Hasslehoff to save my overgrown dog.
