Harley is afraid of fireworks and gunfire-like popping noises.
So, he’s spent the past week cowering in the bathroom because it’s the only room in the apartment without windows.
I guess it’s like his bomb shelter…although it’s a little awkward having a dog stare at me when I’m on the toilet. Can I get some privacy please?
Aw. My parents have a yorkie that is terrified of fireworks and thunder too. He shakes and goes to my brother to be protected.
Haha, the worst is when I’m walking him and we hear fireworks or gunfire. It like ruins his day and he keeps his tail down for the entire walk.
My dog isn’t afraid of fireworks [that I know of]. He does, however, use my bedroom as his “bomb shelter” when my mom and brother get after him. He’ll come and sit on a small area rug in my room and just chill out until he figures he’s no longer in trouble. My mom calls it his “panic room.”
Haha, that’s a good word for it! I like that… that was a creepy movie by the way.
