After being ignored at the Bestbuy music section for 20 minutes, I skipped over to the Guitar Center next door.
30 minutes later I left with a brand new APC40, the dedicated controller for Ableton.
The APC40 is still in the box. I spent the majority of Monday morning going through the Ableton lessons. I also have a textbook. I’m still incompetent, but I’m learning, and having a lot of fun.
I also have the somewhat random luck of finding great music production contacts through twitter who put up with my endless questions. Who knew that so many law-geeks produced music?
